Internal Medicine & Respirology Clinic
The Internal Medicine & Respirology clinic provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients needing short-term care from an internal medicine a specialist who have been:
- Discharged from the hospital after being admitted for an acute visit;
- Have had a hospital visit that did not involve going through the Emergency Department but requires follow-up; or
- Have been referred by a primary care physician or nurse practitioner.
In addition, the clinic provides consultation to patients with acute medical issues, respiratory conditions or patients with multiple complex medical problems.
We specialize in adult medicine, and are specially trained to solve diagnostic problems, manage severe long-term illnesses, and help patients with multiple, complex chronic conditions.

Can I refer myself or my family member?
No. All Patients must be referred by a physician or Nurse Practitioner
What if I don’t have a family doctor?
If you do not have a family doctor/nurse practitioner and are feeling unwell, please visit the urgent care clinic. A referral is required for this clinic.
Can I bring a support person to my appointment?
Yes, a support person is welcome to attend your appointment but please limit to one support person for space purposes.
What should I bring to my appointment?
- An updated list of medications (bring medications in original containers)
- Eye glasses and hearing aids if needed
- Ontario Health card
