Respiratory Outbreak in Acute Care Declared Over

Dear Community,

On June 3, 2025, the Haliburton Kawartha Northumberland Peterborough (HKNP) Health Unit declared Haliburton Highlands Health Services’ (HHHS) Acute Care to be in a Respiratory Outbreak.

We are pleased to announce that on June 9, 2025, the Health Unit has deemed the outbreak over.

A huge thank you to the entire team for all their efforts to keep our patients and families safe and comfortable during the outbreak.
