Respiratory Outbreak in Acute Care

Dear Community,

On November 26, 2025, the Lakelands Public Health Unit declared Acute Care to be in a Respiratory Outbreak.

All symptomatic patients have been isolated to their rooms and placed on droplet-contact precautions with enhanced cleaning and outbreak measures in place.

The Acute Care team is working diligently to reduce the spread of this infection by following all IPAC protocols to keep our patients, families and team safe.
